Register Your own Team in Just 3 Easy Steps

Thank you for visiting our website. You can become a member of our CAHL by registering your own team online below in just three easy steps for our upcoming CAHL 2010-2011 Season. Our Weeknight Divisions begin on Monday, September 20, 2010, while our Weekend Divisions begin on Friday, September 24, 2010. New teams are welcome to become members by registering online as well, all you need are a few small groups of friends (teams have about 15 skaters and a goalie). We also have Unrestricted Free Agents to help you complete your team if you don't have enough players. New custom team uniforms can be provided for you as well at a discounted rate. Step 1 of 3: Choose a Division

Weeknight Divisions
-Keep all of your weekends free for yourself, your family, and your friends.
-Never have any games on any Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
-About one game per week only on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday night.
-A division for every skill level:
A - Very Good; B - Good; C - Intermediate; D - Recreational; E - Novice

Weeknight Division A - 12 teams in last winter season
Weeknight Division B - 12 teams in last winter season
Weeknight Division C - 12 teams in last winter season
Weeknight Division C South*** - 8 team capacity - Newest Division
Weeknight Division D - 12 teams in last winter season
Weeknight Division E - 8 team capacity - New Division

The CAHL Cup Championship is a best of 3 games series.

All 30 regular season games and any playoff** games consist of:
-Three stop time periods: 15 minutes, 15 minutes, and 12 minutes
-Best of 3 shootout (if necessary)
-Sudden death shootout (if necessary)

 

***All 30 regular season games are in the south. The playoff games may be in the south or north.

 

9PM Weeknight Divisions

-All games are at no later* than 9:45PM.
-Keep all of your weekends free for yourself, your family, and your friends.
-Never have games on any Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
-About one game per week only on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday night.
-A division for every skill level:
C - Intermediate; B - Good

9PM Weeknight Division C/B - 16 team capacity - New Division
-There will be a seeding round to start the regular season and the 16 team division will be divided into two divisions of eight teams following the seeding round.

-The standings will be reset after the seeding round.

 

The CAHL Cup Championship is a best of 3 games series.

All 30 regular season games and any playoff** games are at no later* than 9:45PM and consist of:
-Three stop time periods: 15 minutes, 15 minutes, and 12 minutes
-Best of 3 shootout (if necessary)
-Sudden death shootout (if necessary)

 

Weekend Divisions
-Go out with your team after every game.
-No need to think about waking up early the next morning for work (if working Monday to Friday).
-About one game per weekend on a Friday or Saturday night (there may be Sunday games at no later* than 9:45PM during the playoffs).
-Never have any games on any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.
-A division for every skill level:
A - Very Good; B - Good; C - Intermediate; D - Recreational

Weekend Division A - 8 teams in last winter season
Weekend Division B - 8 teams in last winter season
Weekend Division C - 10 teams in last winter season

Weekend Division D - 8 team capacity - New Division

Sunday Division
-Keep all of your Fridays and Saturdays free during the regular season for yourself, your family, and your friends.
-About one game per weekend on a Sunday night (there may be Friday or Saturday games during the playoffs).

-Never have any games on any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.
-A division for the intermediate skill level:
C - Intermediate

Sunday Division C - 12 team capacity - New Division

The CAHL Cup Championship is a best of 3 games series.

All 30 regular season games and any playoff** games consist of:
-Three stop time periods: 15 minutes, 15 minutes, and 12 minutes
-Best of 3 shootout (if necessary)
-Sudden death shootout (if necessary)

 

We play at an arena near you such as: Calgary Centennial Arenas, Cardel Place, Crowchild Twin Arena, Crowfoot Arena, Edge School, Fairview, Don Hartman North East Sportsplex, West Mount Pleasant, etc.

*It is possible that the start of any regular season or playoff game may be delayed by problems such as, however not limited to, an ice resurfacer (Zamboni) malfunction, a player injury, a playoff game that needs extra time, etc.
**The playoffs are for qualifying teams. It is possible that some playoff games may have different features such as, however not limited to, longer stop time periods, etc.

 

Step 2 of 3: Team Registration Fee

Weeknight Divisions A-E, Weekend Divisions A-D, and Sunday Division C

The CAHL 2010-2011 Team Registration Fee for Weeknight Divisions A, B, C, D, E, Weekend Divisions A, B, C, D, and Sunday Division C is $8400 which works out to about $525 per player for an average 16 player team (15 skaters and a goalie).

 

9PM Weeknight Divisions C/B and Custom Team Schedules

Step 3 of 3: Pay by credit card, Interac Email Money Transfer, or cheque

By Credit Card

You may use your credit card to make a Team Registration (Non-Refundable) Deposit Fee payment of $400 or a Team Registration (Non-Refundable) Fee payment of $500-$750 in the first form below, or a Team Registration (Non-Refundable) Fee payment of between $1000-$8400 in the second form below. The total Team Registration Fee is due by September 15th, 2010.

After Completing the 3 Steps it's Time to get Ready for the Season

If you need new custom team uniforms please email us at info@cahl.ca for a discounted rate.

 

If you need additional players to complete your team please email us at info@cahl.ca to have your contact info added to our Unrestricted Free Agents section so that interested players may contact you directly to join your team.
